ProjectionMapper Native 0.95.0 - README (October 8, 2026) NEW IN 0.95.0 - THE OUTLINE EDITOR, DELETED AND REBUILT FROM A BLANK FILE You asked for the line editor to be deleted and completely redone, not patched again. That is what this is: both files of the old editor are gone (deleted from the project, not just edited) and a brand-new editor stands in their place, written from a blank page around one rule - it cannot crash, and even if something unexpected happens it cannot lose your work. What is different about the new one: - Every mouse and keyboard path is guarded. If anything ever goes wrong inside the editor, it catches itself, puts your outlines back exactly as they were before that click, writes an autosave, logs what happened, and keeps running. The app cannot be taken down by the editor. - Every edit autosaves the moment you make it. Detected projects save in place; other projects write a recovery file (native-maps/ .sketch-autosave.json) so the pack file is never clobbered but no edit is ever lost. A crash mid-session costs you nothing. - An interrupted drag can no longer stick: if the mouse is lost mid-gesture, the drag is cancelled and the outline snaps back to where it was, instead of staying half-moved. - All inputs are validated: bad or incomplete outline data in a project file is skipped safely instead of drawn, and can never crash the canvas. Everything the editor did before, it still does: drag to move, yellow points to reshape, blue handle to rotate, shift-click for several at once, add/remove points, bigger/smaller, rotate 15 degrees, copy/paste shape, reset to box, relabel (and the AI still learns your relabels), mute. The right-click relabel menu on the preview also uses the new editor. STILL TRUE - 0.94.7: detection AI crash fixes + script that now refreshes itself; log scrollbar drags. 0.94.6: per-frame split, green Local AI inventory. Everything earlier unchanged. TESTED - Full Go suite green, including a new editor test file (11 tests: picking, multi-select, drags, clamps, cancel-restores, rotation, point editing, big-move tracking, and a garbage-input test that throws NaN coordinates and corrupt outlines at every entry point). A guard test fails the build if a lock ever appears in the editor again - the lock tangle was the old editor's crash history. Windows build clean; version byte-checked. UNTESTED (needs your rig) - Real mouse time on the new editor. It was hardened without your crash logs (the log service is quota-limited until tomorrow), so it defends against every crash SHAPE, not one specific stack trace. If it ever catches a problem it will say so in the log ("Outline editor caught a problem..."), keep running, and tell you to tell me what you clicked - send me that line and I fix the exact spot. Gemini/paid AI calls added in this build: 0.
