MOVE ARCADE - BUILT BY INSTINCT 0.5.4 - webcam body-motion games for Windows (no controller) NEW IN 0.5.4 - Live system readout in the bottom status bar: CPU %, GPU % and video memory, RAM used. GPU numbers come from nvidia-smi (installed with NVIDIA drivers; shows n/a if missing). Turns red when something is maxed out. The F2 overlay shows them too. Everything is read on your PC only. - "X Exit game" button (top-left) in every game takes you back to the main menu. Esc still works, and so does holding a hand over the top-left corner for 1 second. The main menu has an "X Quit" button (top-right) that closes Move Arcade. - Auto quality: the game lowers itself (fingers, body glow, pose quality) when it can not keep up, and raises things back when there is headroom. A notice shows on screen. - If the page ever freezes, the launcher closes it after 15 s and reopens it in Safe Mode (lighter settings) so you are never stuck. - Camera permission now sticks: the app uses a fixed local address, so Allow is remembered (your scores and settings stay too). Earlier versions used a new address every launch. - GPU is forced on: high-performance GPU, hardware acceleration and no software fallback; F2 shows which GPU is in use. - Body glow and Fingers are now off by default until you press B or H (stability first). - After an update installs, the previous version file is deleted automatically (only the leftover next to the app, nothing else). - Mouse: click a game with the left mouse button to launch it, hover highlights it, and a Back button (top-left) returns from any game or from the Halloween page. - Halloween games turn you into the theme: ghost hunter (Ghost Zap), pumpkin (Candy Catch), zombie (Zombie Freeze), vampire with bat wings (Bat Flap), skeleton (Skeleton Dance), witch (Witch's Brew), werewolf (Werewolf Dash), Frankenstein's monster (Frankenstorm), scarecrow (Crow Whack), mummy (Mummy Juggle). - 5 NEW Halloween games in 0.5.4: Witch's Brew, Werewolf Dash, Frankenstorm, Crow Whack, Mummy Juggle (see below). - Fixed: games dropping to the menu and freezing the screen (a crash at the menu switch), plus an exit gesture grace period of 3.5 s after a game starts. - Much more detailed log: heartbeat every 5 s, stall and long-task detection, GL context loss, Safe Mode report. Text only. EARLIER, 0.5.0 - 2-player mode: Players button (key P). Stand side by side, both fully in view. Each player has their own colored skeleton; Fruit Slash shows P1 and P2 scores. Other games treat both players as one team. It is slower (two bodies tracked), and the app lowers extras by itself if the PC struggles. - Diagnostics: press F2 to show render fps, pose fps, model times, tracking state. Take screenshots with it on and the numbers show how the PC is doing. - Screen shake when you lose a life; a "100! 200! ..." flash with sound at every 100 points in all games. NOT YET TESTED ON A REAL WINDOWS PC: 2-player tracking quality and fps. EARLIER, 0.4.0 - Quality button (key Q): Lite / Full / Heavy body tracking. Default Full (sharper, steadier than the old Lite). Heavy is the most accurate but needs the most GPU. - Body button (key B): Off / Glow / Cut. Glow wraps you in a rainbow outline. Cut shows your real body cut out of the room with a glow. Works in every game and the menu. - Projector Fluid: your whole silhouette now feeds the fluid, not just the skeleton and motion. - Fingers button (key H): your hands are tracked, so fingertips hit things instead of wrists. - If the PC cannot keep up, the app turns extras down by itself (fingers, then body glow, then quality) and tells you on screen. Your settings are remembered. - All models run on your PC from inside the app. Nothing new is downloaded or sent. No camera images ever leave the PC. NOT YET TESTED ON A REAL WINDOWS PC: fps with the extra models, finger tracking, projector fluid look with the silhouette. Needs: Windows 10/11, Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, a webcam. A discrete GPU helps (made for an RTX 2060 laptop). Install: run MoveArcade-0.5.4.exe. It is not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen may warn: click "More info" then "Run anyway". There is no installer; the app keeps its files in %LOCALAPPDATA%\MoveArcade and does not touch anything else. It opens in its own app window using its OWN separate browser profile (%LOCALAPPDATA%\MoveArcade\profile), not your normal browser profile. Chrome/Edge will ask for camera permission: choose Allow. Stand 6-8 ft back so your whole body is in view. Games (18): Fruit Slash, Bubble Pop 3D, Projector Fluid (body-driven light show). Page 1 also has five GPU/3D games: Neon Tunnel (lean and duck), Asteroid Smash (punch asteroids), Orb Juggler (bounce orbs with hands and head), Crystal Wall (strike poses to fit through walls), Wave Rider (lean to surf). Page 2 is Halloween (10 games): Ghost Zap, Candy Catch, Zombie Freeze (dance, then freeze when the zombie turns), Bat Flap (flap your arms), Skeleton Dance (copy the pose), Witch's Brew (hold the cauldron between your hands, catch only the recipe ingredients), Werewolf Dash (arms up = jump rocks, crouch under bats, grab meat; Up/Down keys also work), Frankenstorm (lightning marks columns, step sideways before it strikes, hit batteries for bonus), Crow Whack (whack the crows, spare the friendly pumpkins), Mummy Juggle (bat the eyeballs back up and keep them in the air). The menu has a Halloween > button; hold a hand over it. Menu: hold a hand over a game for about a second. Exit a game: both hands above your head for 1.5 s, or Esc. Projector Fluid: point the webcam at the wall, click "Projector window", drag that window to the projector, press F for fullscreen. M flips mirroring. Updates: "Check for updates" downloads only from wadequestbuilds.pages.dev, checks size, SHA-256 and Windows executable format, then restarts. Logs: a text log is kept in %LOCALAPPDATA%\MoveArcade\logs. On first run you are asked whether the app may send it to the developer site (wadequestbuilds.pages.dev). Change it any time with the Logs button. "Send log" shows the complete text before you press Send. Camera video: pose tracking runs on your PC. Move Arcade never uploads camera video, frames or photos; logs are text only, with folder names and tokens scrubbed. Move Arcade's page is restricted by a content-security policy to its own local server, and the MediaPipe library's built-in usage logging is disabled in our copy. The app window is a Chrome/Edge window; it is started with background networking, sync and component updates turned off, but the browser's own behaviour is outside Move Arcade's code.
